Maroon Roots Secures First 50 Acres in Nova Scotia, Canada
We are proud and honored to share a historic milestone in the journey of Maroon Roots.
We have officially purchased 50 acres of land in Nova Scotia, Canada, marking the very first location in our global network of cultural and spiritual sanctuaries.
This land will serve as a cornerstone for our mission — a place to rebuild, restore, and reconnect. Here, we will begin creating a sanctuary for housing, healing, and community growth. It will also be a center for cultural preservation, agricultural development, and spiritual grounding for generations to come.
Nova Scotia holds a rich history of resilience, with deep ties to African, Indigenous, and Maroon heritage. By planting our roots here, we honor those who came before us while building a future of independence, unity, and prosperity.
This is just the first step. Maroon Roots is in the process of securing additional land in Jamaica, the Congo, and Belize, creating an international foundation for our people.
We thank everyone who has stood with us on this journey. The road ahead is bright, and this land is not just soil — it is a seed for the future.
One People. One Mission. One Future.
